Dear Employee Partner:

Please join us as we commence our annual campaign in support of the Flagler County Education Foundation "One for the Kids" program. Teachers, staff, and other School Board employees are asked to donate one dollar ($1.00) or more from each regular paycheck to support the programs and activities of the Education Foundation.

Thanks to the invaluable employee support of "One for the Kids," over the past year the Foundation provided $25,000 to support the "Take Stock in Children" scholarship program for students from low-income families. The Foundation also distributed over $30,000 in mini-grants directly to classroom teachers.

Other programs and projects supported by the Foundation include New Teacher Orientation, Teacher and Employee of the Year Recognition Ceremony, the annual Senior Scholarship Awards Program, Teacher Recruitment and Retention Activities, literacy projects, and the Gap Commission initiative to help reduce the achievement gap between high and low performing students.

If you are not a participant in the "One for the Kids" program, please take this opportunity to become a partner in education with the Flagler County Education Foundation. The process is easy, simply fill out the enclosed Payroll Deduction Form and return it to the District Office. If you are a participant, thank you!
