Directors
Presidents Letter The Flagler County Education Foundation is a direct-support organization of community volunteers committed to generating financial support to enhance the educational programs benefiting our school district. The Foundation's Board of Directors serve as stewards for an annual operating budget in excess of $200,000. We accomplish our mission by hosting several annual major fundraising events, by making presentations to community and civic groups, by soliciting businesses and individuals to make charitable donations to our cause, and by serving as goodwill ambassadors for the school district. All of our Foundation Board members have a passion for quality education, and contribute significant dollars each year to enhance teaching and learning in Flagler County. We use the funds we raise to support a variety of student and teacher-oriented programs. These include:

FCEF February News - Click here for the most recent news from the Flagler County Education Foundation Mini-Grant Awards - Click here for this years Mini-Grant award winners PROGRAMS.... Scholarship Program – The Florida Take Stock in Children and STARS scholarship programs are actively supported by the Flagler County Education Foundation (FCEF) through the Florida Prepaid College Fund. FPCHS Scholarship Banquet – The Foundation sponsors the Flagler Palm Coast High School scholarship banquet and donates several scholarships. Classroom Mini-Grants – The Foundation awards over 30 mini grants annually for innovative classroom projects. Teacher & Employee of the Year Recognition – Each year the FCEF provides $1,000 to help sponsor a banquet honoring Flagler County's Teacher of the Year nominees and an equal amount for the Employee of the Year Program. Teacher Orientation Program – FCEF welcomes and supports new teachers in our school district with gift certificates for their classrooms. One For The Kids Program – In conjunction with Flagler County employees, the Education Foundation raises and contributes substantially to classrooms and special projects. FUNDRAISING… Annual Golf Tournament – Each year, the FCEF sponsors a golf tournament that raises money to provide mini-grants for special classroom projects and scholarships for the Take Stock in Children program and others. Person of the Year Banquet – Established in May 1999, this annual testimonial dinner is held as part of the FCEF Directors' decision to establish an Endowment Fund. Mardi Gras – Bringing a festive atmosphere to the locale, this event was launched in 2004 to raise community awareness of the funds gathered for the sole purpose of student scholarships awarded each spring. HERE'S HOW EASY IT IS FOR YOU TO MAKE CHILDREN YOUR PRIORITY! License Plates for Learning Program - You can participate by requesting A License Plate for Learning when you register or renew your auto tags. Is there an apple on your plate? Endowment and Estate Opportunities – When setting up your estate and will, remember that children are the leaders of tomorrow. Set aside a portion of your estate as a charitable contribution to the FCEF. This gesture will give them the opportunity to benefit from one of the fantastic programs supported by FCEF. Become an Associate Member - Give an annual or one-time contribution as an individual or business. Find out if your company has a matching-funds program in which you can participate. The Flagler County Education Foundation is a not-for-profit Internal Revenue Code 501(c)(3) Corporation chartered under Florida Statutes to serve as a direct support organization to the Flagler County School District.
