Staff Recognition

Rymfire Elementary is proud to recognize Tim Ruddy, Rose Duchon, Denise Notaras, Tammy

Sawyer and Debbie Ellis who have been certified by the National Board for Professional Teaching

Standards. We congratulate them for their dedication and commitment to our students and the

teaching profession.

Katie Hoover, a third grade teacher here at Rymfire Elementary, has been selected to participate

in the Space Florida Zero-Gravity Program in conjunction with the Stephen Hawking Microgravity

Education and Research Center. She, along with 60 educators from all over the state, will get to

experience the same feeling the astronauts get in orbit... weightlessness.

Adults - don't forget "Rave Lines". The cost is $5.00 for 20 words to brag, praise or congratulate your wonderful student.

Business Owners - don't forget the yearbook is a wonderful place to advertise. This yearbook will be seen by many local families. This book will remain in their homes for years. Ad prices start at only $15.00. A full page is priced at a reasonable $100.00. This is a very affordable way to promote your business while supporting your school.

Rymfire Elementary School’s Employee of the Year is Mrs. Debbie Sia.

Debbie has been the front desk receptionist since Rymfire’s opening in 2006. She is our  first point of contact for parents and visitors as they enter our school. Whether answering the phones or greeting the public, her positive attitude creates a welcoming atmosphere. Debbie is often the liaison between parents and teachers, students and teachers, and parents and administration. One thing is for sure Debbie Sia LOVES the staff and students here at Rymfire Elementary!!
