This is a story about a young girl named Jackie. Jackie wanted to be a baseball player since she was a little girl. Finally her dream came true. Jackie was 17 when she played baseball for the Chattanooga Lookouts. She was their pitcher. On April 2,1931 , she was playing an exhibition game against the New York Yankees. She struck out both Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig. She'd show the world how a girl could throw as far and as fast and as long as she wanted. What do you think about that?
