Touch and Learn Christmas tree

posted on 12/04/2008 10:35 AM

Several members of the Wadsworth Panther Planters' Garden Club helped Mrs. Tilton set up the "Touch and Learn" Christmas tree that is displayed at the Flagler County Library.  They had a great time hanging all of the ornaments that members of the Garden Club created.  The Christmas tree is beautifully decorated with the life cycles of many of the native butterflies in this area.  The ornaments have a photo of each stage on the front and species' names on the back. The Panther Planters are excited to help educate the community about butterfly gardening!  Don’t miss seeing this unique tree featured at the Festival of Trees, Friday December 5th at 6:30p.m. at the Flagler County Library.  Enjoy musical entertainment, join in the sing along, and have some family fun as you begin your holiday season at this festive event.
