...except when you teach Kindergarteners! All the kids wanted to do the birthday circle song where the birthday person stands in the middle of a circle made by the students and sing Happy Birthday to them. Afterwards, they sing, "are you 1, are you 2, are you 3..." I told them we didn't have the time to go high enough for me and I would take the birthday song by itself!
