The "Eagles After Hours" after school program at Buddy Taylor Middle School provides fun and enriching activities for students every day after school until 6:00 p.m.

Students meet together with their activity leaders and their site manager to enjoy a snack, and help plan the activities for the day.  Students wishing to get their homework out of the way can receive assistance from the staff; others may choose to work on an arts and crafts project, play one of the many great games available, play sports in the gym or outside, use a computer, or any number of other activities.  Students have worked on original poetry writing and have enjoyed specialty classes in Art, Spanish, French, Football Skills, Gymnastics, Math Tutoring, Children's Musical Theatre and Basketball Skills.

Students are brainstorming ideas for possible future field trips that may take place on teacher workdays.

Plans include bringing in more specialty teachers and guest speakers in a wide variety of enrichment areas, based on the interests of the participating students.  This program provides an opportunity for students to explore different areas of interest and form new friendships, all in a safe, supervised environment.

"Eagles After Hours" is currently accepting applications for more participants.  Students may sign up for:

  • Morning & Afternoon session at $42.00 per week
  • Morning session at $32.00 per week
  • Afternoon session at $32.00 per week

Registration forms for the "Eagles After Hours" after school enrichment program are available at the front desk at Buddy Taylor Middle School.
