A Message from our Principal, Stewart Maxcy

Teachers return on August 17^th and for the students, school begins August 24^th and I can’t wait!

I am so excited to be returning to Wadsworth Elementary School!  For those who don’t know my background, I have been in Flagler County since 1977.  I have been a teacher, Administrative Assistant, Assistant Principal and was the Principal at Wadsworth from 1996 until 2004.

I have an open door policy and expect people to let me know both the positives and the negatives.  I can’t fix or reward what I don’t know about.  I encourage parent input and participation and place academic achievement, as well as student safety, as top priorities.

Being away from Wadsworth for a few years means all new faces.   I look forward to meeting and greeting everyone soon.  Make sure you stop and introduce yourselves.  Our first student day will be orientation, from 1:00-3:00, on Friday, August 21^st.
